Compared to the likes of Carole King, Joni Mitchell and Cheryl Crowe with her story driven songs and unique flamenco guitar playing, singer songwriter Andrea Black has been described as an 'Unknown Secret'. Mentored by the legendary John Lee Hooker, with whom she lived while planning to record an album together, her story is fascinating. Andrea has had 6 international recording deals with labels such as JVC Victor, Toshiba and Roadrunner where she was label mates with Lemmy! She was commissioned by Mazda to launch the MX-5, and Andrea, also an accomplished actor was the founder of The Tabard Theatre in Chiswick.
